US Election Results Show Trump Continues to Lead as Bitcoin Hits AllTime High of 75000

The 2024 U.S. Presidential Election began tallying votes on Wednesday morning (the 6th) Taiwan time. According to data from the Associated Press, as of 11:34 AM, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has garnered 198 votes, while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has received 112 votes.

Trump is currently leading in some swing states, including Pennsylvania (leading by 2.8%), North Carolina (leading by 2.7%), Georgia (leading by 3.2%), and Wisconsin (leading by 1.1%). Kamala Harris is ahead in Michigan (leading by approximately 0.2%), while Arizona and Nevada have not yet started counting or have just begun the counting process.

Possibly influenced by Trump’s lead in the election, the price of Bitcoin surged past the historical high set in March this year, reaching up to $75,000. As of the deadline, the BTC trading price was $74,300, with a 24-hour increase of 8.66%.

Additionally, due to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s support for Trump, Dogecoin (DOGE), often mentioned by Musk, has also been rising continuously during the vote counting period, reaching up to 34% in the past 24 hours. As of the deadline, the DOGE trading price was approximately $0.21.
