Decentralized Cryptocurrency Exchange PancakeSwap Announces New Stock Perpetual Contract Category
On Wednesday, PancakeSwap, a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, announced the addition of a “Stock Perpetual Contract” category to its perpetual contract platform, enabling users to trade perpetual contracts for three stocks—Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), and Tesla (TSLA)—directly on-chain through their cryptocurrency wallets.
PancakeSwap stated that these underlying assets are derivatives tracking the real stock prices, offering up to 25 times leverage, while allowing users to “have complete control over their assets on the BNB Chain.” It is important to note that this product can only be traded during U.S. stock market hours.
