The event took place from March 11th to March 22nd, with the theme of “Addressing poverty from a gender perspective and strengthening institutions and financing for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls”.

Gracy Chen actively engaged in discussions on important issues such as empowering youth and women in the era of artificial intelligence, technology, and social media, to achieve a sustainable future. The 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women provided a platform for governments, civil society organizations, experts, and activists from various countries to come together and reach consensus on actions and investments to eliminate women’s poverty and promote gender equality. The solutions discussed in the conference included policies and programs that invest in addressing gender inequality, enhancing women’s leadership, and narrowing the gender gap in employment.

Therefore, we commit to investing $10 million in the next few years to launch the Blockchain4Her program globally, which includes incubation programs, ambassador programs, and blockchain women awards, to cultivate female entrepreneurship and recognize women’s achievements in the blockchain and Web3 fields.” Several female industry leaders have already joined the program.

Bitget’s core value lies in depicting a fairer future world through the development of Web3 and cryptocurrencies, empowering different groups regardless of their cultural background, economic status, age, or gender.
