The event took place from March 11th to March 22nd, with the theme “Addressing poverty from a gender perspective and strengthening institutions and financing for gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.”

The 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women provided a platform for governments, civil society organizations, experts, and activists from various countries to come together and reach a consensus on actions and investments to eliminate women’s poverty and promote gender equality. The solutions discussed at the conference include policies and programs that invest in addressing gender inequality, improving women’s leadership, and narrowing the gender gap in employment.

I look forward to applying the knowledge gained from this event to further Bitget’s mission of promoting diversity and empowerment within the cryptocurrency community.”
Gracy further emphasized Bitget’s proactive attitude, stating, “We recognize the lack of female representation and participation in the industry. Therefore, we are committed to investing $10 million over the next few years in the Blockchain4Her program, which includes incubation projects, ambassador programs, and the Blockchain Women’s Award, to cultivate female entrepreneurship and recognize achievements by women in the blockchain and Web3 fields.” Several female industry leaders have already joined the program.
Bitget’s core value lies in envisioning a more equitable future world through the development of Web3 and cryptocurrency, empowering different groups regardless of cultural background, economic status, age, or gender.
