The Ethereum Name Service provides human-readable domain names, such as example.eth, allowing users to link their Ethereum wallets to these domain names and simplify the process of transferring cryptocurrencies to other wallets.
Google introduced native support for Ethereum wallet balances in May 2023. Initially, users could search for specific public addresses and directly view the wallet balance in search results. Brantly Millegan, a former member of the ENS core team, noticed today (22nd) that this feature has now been extended to ENS domain names.
This means that when users search for a specific ENS domain name on Google, the search results will display the wallet balance and the blockchain address associated with that domain name. The data is sourced from the Ethereum browser Etherscan, and the balance displayed is the most recent external transaction.
However, this service appears to be not universally available. Some users on the X platform have noticed that their domain names do not appear directly in Google search results. Millegan

that the functionality is more stable when using privacy browsing mode or logging out of Google services.
