Cryptocurrency columnist Tiffany Fong recently interviewed the founder of the bankrupt exchange FTX, SBF, who is currently detained in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center. During the interview, SBF’s cellmate, G Lock (formerly a member of the Bloods gang), shared the only photo of SBF taken around Christmas last year (December 17, 2023). Due to prison regulations, only Christmas and Father’s Day allow for photos, and SBF appears noticeably thinner compared to before.

During the interview, G Lock mentioned that SBF doesn’t like to shower, sports a large beard, and dresses sloppily. However, G Lock overall described him as a good person. Tiffany Fong also asked G Lock if SBF avoids showering because he is afraid of incidents involving dropping the soap. G Lock laughed and said that such incidents only happened in the 1990s.

Furthermore, G Lock had nothing but praise for SBF, stating that he is not the type to be a snitch and acknowledging that he is more like a street gang member than American rapper Tekashi69.
