WLFI actively expands cooperation

Democratic lawmakers accuse Trump of involvement potentially constituting grounds for impeachment

According to information disclosed by WLFI founder and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the two parties held a meeting today in Abu Dhabi to discuss how to expand global adoption, establish new standards, and elevate cryptocurrency to new levels. CZ commented on the matter:

“I guess traditional media might fabricate negative reports again, but we will continue to focus on building.”

On the other hand, foreign media Techjuice also reported over the weekend that WLFI has signed a letter of intent with the Pakistan Crypto Committee (PCC) to accelerate blockchain innovation, stablecoin adoption, and decentralized finance (DeFi) integration across Pakistan. The WLFI delegation met with senior leaders in Pakistan, and both sides will collaborate in areas such as regulatory sandboxes, DeFi growth, asset tokenization, and stablecoin applications, as well as providing strategic consulting on blockchain infrastructure and global regulatory trends. Pakistan has 25 million active crypto users, with an annual transaction volume reaching $300 billion, demonstrating its rapidly growing crypto market potential.

Democratic lawmakers accuse Trump of involvement potentially constituting grounds for impeachment

Although WLFI has recently begun to actively expand, due to its close ties with U.S. President Trump, the project will inevitably face higher political pressure than typical Web3 projects.

According to NBC News, Georgia Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff pointed out last Friday that the TRUMP cryptocurrency project offered its largest holders invitations to dinner with President Trump, stating that this behavior is clearly a way to “sell the opportunity to engage with the president.” Ossoff stated:

“When the sitting president of the United States effectively receives direct payments in exchange for opportunities to engage in this manner, there is no doubt this meets the standard for impeachment.”

Additionally, California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren co-signed a letter to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics on April 25, requesting an investigation into whether President Trump violated federal ethics regulations by inviting top coin holders.
