Integration for MEV-Protected Transactions in Solana Ecosystem
According to official statements, this integration allows tokens within the Solana ecosystem to conduct transactions with MEV protection.
Transaction Architecture and Design
The overall transaction architecture employs 1inch’s open-source smart contracts and an intent-based design, enabling users to simply define the operations they wish to execute, while the backend resolvers are responsible for optimizing the execution.
Specifically, users can customize transaction parameters, while professional market makers (resolvers) will bid to execute transactions in the backend through a Dutch auction model—where the exchange rate gradually decreases from a higher price until it is accepted by a resolver. This mechanism is designed to reduce slippage risk and achieve the best exchange price through competitive bidding.
Solana’s Performance in DeFi Metrics
According to data from Dune Analytics and DefiLlama, Solana has led all public chains in multiple DeFi metrics in the first quarter of 2025, including DEX trading volume, number of transactions, and number of active addresses.
Future Cross-Chain Functionality
Next, 1inch plans to launch cross-chain exchange functionality between Solana and the remaining 10 supported chains, further linking Solana’s liquidity to a broader DeFi ecosystem.
