Unlocking of Large Token Amounts This Month: Over $200 Million APT and $340 Million AVAX to be Unlocked

According to TokenUnlocks data, several cryptocurrency projects, including Aptos, Avalanche, and Optimism, will unlock a large number of tokens this month.

The APT token of Layer 1 blockchain Aptos will unlock nearly 25 million tokens on Sunday (11th), valued at approximately $222 million at the current price, accounting for over 7% of the circulating supply.

The SAND token of Web3 metaverse platform The Sandbox will unlock 205 million tokens on February 14th, valued at approximately $88 million at the current price, accounting for 9% of the circulating supply.

The AVAX token of Layer 1 blockchain Avalanche will unlock 9.5 million tokens on February 21st, valued at approximately $344 million at the current price, accounting for 2.6% of the circulating supply. This token unlock will also bring the total unlocked AVAX tokens to 60%.

The OP token of Ethereum Layer 2 network Optimism will unlock 24 million tokens on February 28th, valued at approximately $72 million at the current price, accounting for 2.5% of the circulating supply.

In addition to the above projects, there are also smaller-scale token unlocks in February, including:

Web3 social network CyberConnect: CYBER tokens worth approximately $16 million will unlock on February 13th.

Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem token ApeCoin: APE tokens worth approximately $21 million will unlock on February 16th.

Modular blockchain Manta Network: MANTA tokens worth approximately $18 million will unlock on February 18th.

Privacy-focused blockchain Oasis Network: ROSE tokens worth nearly $20 million will unlock on February 18th.

Decentralized domain name protocol Space ID: ID tokens worth approximately $5 million will unlock on February 21st.
