Meme Coin SLERF Founder's Blunder! Presale Participants' Shares Devastated, Unexpectedly Causing Coin Price Surge

The success of the meme coin BOME has once again popularized the “pre-sale issuance model” in the Solana ecosystem. However, recently, a meme coin called SLERF successfully raised approximately 10 million USD worth of SOL during its three-day pre-sale period. Unfortunately, during the process of burning LP tokens, the project initiator made a mistake and accidentally burned the SLERF tokens reserved for airdrop along with other worthless tokens.

Furthermore, the minting authority has been revoked, so the project initiator cannot issue new tokens to the participants of the pre-sale. In other words, the investors who participated in the pre-sale can no longer recover any funds. According to official statistics, there were two individuals who invested more than 1,000 SOL.

Currently, the project initiator is communicating with the community through Space on X, continuously apologizing to the community and expressing concerns about being seen as a criminal. However, this incident unexpectedly led to widespread attention from the community towards SLERF. The token price skyrocketed from an opening price of 0.02 USD to 0.7 USD, making it the hottest token in the current Solana ecosystem.
