Binance Exchange Responds Directly to Criticism from Taiwanese Legislator
Regarding the previous reports on Zombit, Legislator Wang Hongwei questioned Deputy Minister of Justice Xu Cixiang at the Finance Committee, stating that Binance has been named by local regulatory authorities in the United States, Canada, and India for violating anti-money laundering regulations, facing international penalties. However, the Ministry of Justice in Taiwan has chosen to cooperate with Binance, which has committed money laundering offenses, to teach Taiwanese law enforcement agencies how to prevent money laundering. Wang Hongwei criticized this behavior as helping the exchange launder money.
