Online fishing group retaliated by fellow fishermen Slowmist founder advises reporting to the police for an ultimate solution

According to the information shared by SlowMist founder Yu Xian, it was revealed that the associated address of a phishing organization was poisoned by a fellow practitioner last week, resulting in a loss of 10 ETH. This “poisoning” method is a common tactic used in on-chain phishing attacks. The attacker transfers a very small amount of cryptocurrency to a wallet address that is similar to the victim’s address, and once the victim relaxes their guard and copies the fake address during the transfer, they fall into the trap and proactively transfer the funds to the attacker’s controlled fake address. According to on-chain information:

The phishing group mistakenly identified the address in a transaction, resulting in a loss of 10 ETH. Although this incident has minimal financial impact, it carries a strong sense of humiliation. Yu Xian jokingly commented on this matter, saying:
