The event took place from March 11th to March 22nd, with the theme of “Gender-responsive strategies to eradicate poverty and enhance institutional and financing frameworks, accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.”
Gracy Chen actively participated in discussions on important topics such as empowering youth and women with the power of artificial intelligence, technology, and social media for achieving a sustainable future. The 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women provided a platform for governments, civil society organizations, experts, and activists from various countries to come together and reach consensus on actions and investments to eliminate women’s poverty and promote gender equality. The solutions discussed during the conference included policies and plans to invest in addressing gender inequality, enhancing women’s leadership, and narrowing the gender gap in employment.

Therefore, we commit to investing $10 million over the next few years to organize the Blockchain4Her program worldwide, which includes incubation projects, ambassador programs, and blockchain women awards to cultivate female entrepreneurship and recognize achievements of women in the blockchain and Web3 fields.” Several female industry leaders have already joined this program.
Bitget’s core value lies in envisioning a more equitable future world through the development of Web3 and cryptocurrencies, empowering different groups regardless of their cultural background, economic status, age, or gender.
