Etherscan, the Ethereum blockchain explorer, announced on Wednesday (3rd) the acquisition of Solscan, the ecosystem blockchain explorer of Solana. The collaboration and merger aim to continue the ongoing efforts to improve blockchain data accessibility across multiple networks.
Following the merger, Etherscan and Solscan will continue to provide trusted, neutral, and fair access to blockchain data. Additionally, the two platforms plan to integrate more useful features to enhance exploration and analysis capabilities. The team also aims to improve user experience, including user interface, navigation, and overall accessibility.
According to the announcement, since its establishment in 2021, Solscan has been serving over 3 million users monthly. “Many of Solscan’s features are familiar to Etherscan users, including detailed information on addresses, tokens, transactions, as well as APIs, dashboards, and NFT metadata.”
